According to Globo.com, André Carrillo lit up a post-match live on the flight back, joking about Corinthians’ finances and publicly calling out José Martínez after the Supercopa Rei victory over Flamengo.
Corinthians claimed their first trophy of 2026 with a 2-0 win at Mané Garrincha in Brasília on Sunday. Gabriel Paulista and Yuri Alberto scored in the decider.
During the stream, Carrillo said the club do not have money to sign players, but still lift trophies.
He also offered R$ 400 for information on Martínez’s whereabouts, asking where he was. The midfielder remains in Venezuela and has been unable to return to Brazil since the holidays, a situation that has irritated the board and coaching staff.
Team-mate André Ramalho played along, saying they would pay a reward to whoever finds Martínez. The player has no date set to report back.
