Carrillo trains partially with Corinthians after missing Palmeiras derby | OneFootball

Midfielder André Carrillo returned to partial training with Corinthians on Tuesday after an adductor issue kept him out of Sunday’s derby with Palmeiras.

According to Globo.com, he felt discomfort in his right adductor and was not included in the matchday squad for the derby, which formed the seventh round of the Campeonato Paulista.

At CT Joaquim Grava, the session began with gym activation followed by a warm-up on the pitch.

Players who logged more than 45 minutes against Palmeiras moved indoors for further recovery work, as they had on Monday.

The rest stayed on the grass for attack-versus-defence finishing drills and a small-sided game.

Corinthians host Red Bull Bragantino on Thursday at 20:00 Brasília time at Neo Química Arena in the third round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

They opened the Brasileiro with defeat to Bahia on 28 January, and their second-round fixture at Athletico-PR will be played on the 19th at 19:30 at Arena da Baixada.
