There’s no place for Liam Delap, who will instead join up with Chelsea at the FIFA Club World Cup. Delap is a new signing at Chelsea, having arrived from relegated Ipswich Town for a £30m fee. Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton is also absent after withdrawing through injury.

Arsenal teenager Ethan Nwaneri is involved, while there’s a place for Newcastle full-back Tino Livramento. The latter made his senior England debut during March’s international break.

Holders England face the Czech Republic, Germany and Slovenia during the group stage.
