Cartola 2026: Carlos Vinícius hits hat-trick against Botafogo, top scorer in round 2

Carlos Vinícius was the standout in Cartola 2026 round 2, firing a hat-trick in Grêmio’s 5-3 win over Botafogo to post 24.10 points, the highest mark of the year so far.

Globo.com notes that his total eclipsed Danilo’s 17.20 for Botafogo in round 1.

The hat-trick alone accounted for 24 points. He also won one foul, while an offside and a foul committed counted against him.

In round 1, Grêmio lost 2-1 to Chapecoense, when the forward scored their goal and finished on 12.00.

Round 3 carries a key caveat for Cartola players, the Vitória v Flamengo match on Tuesday 10/2 will not count points for the fantasy game. The market will close at 18:59 on Wednesday 11/2, one minute before Mirassol v Cruzeiro and Chapecoense v Coritiba kick off.
