Cascarino, Bacha and Mbock back as France face Netherlands in World Cup qualifying | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, Laurent Bonadei has recalled Delphine Cascarino, Selma Bacha and Griedge Mbock to a 26-player France squad for World Cup qualifying against the Netherlands on 14 April in Breda and 18 April in Auxerre, part of the road to the 2027 tournament in Brazil.

The trio missed March wins over Ireland, 2-1, and Poland, 4-1. Estelle Cascarino is not included, with Bonadei calling it a difficult decision and noting her strong, regular season at West Ham.

Grace Geyoro and Delphine Cascarino are carrying minor issues yet have been called up, with Bonadei hoping to use them in at least one of the two games. He said they had skipped club duties and were in rehabilitation, with ongoing dialogue with their club and no risks to be taken. Assessments are planned when the squad meets on Wednesday, France play on Tuesday, so there is time to gauge progress and tests will determine their involvement.

Bonadei said the returns of Bacha and Mbock reflected a preference for specialists in their positions, players accustomed to a back four.
