CD Castellón closed the winter window with four departures and two arrivals, and no late surprises. The promotion-chasing core remains in place.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the exits were players with limited minutes. Mamah was sold to Türkiye for around 385,000 euros, while Óscar Gil joined Murcia in Primera RFEF in a transfer that will depend on different variables.

Nick Markanich and Serpeta also left. Markanich, who arrived last winter and scored a crucial goal against Eldense, returns on loan to Houston Dynamo FC. Serpeta heads out on a similar loan to Unionistas de Salamanca.

The signings aim to add punch through Raúl Sánchez and Álvaro García. Sánchez returns after a stint in Mexico, bringing immediate impact and wide versatility. Beloved at SkyFi Castalia, he hit 12 goals last season and could be vital in the run-in.

García arrives from AD Mérida as Primera Federación’s top scorer with 12. He played seven minutes against Zaragoza and is still bedding in. He will compete up front with Ousmane Camara and Jakobsen.

A late move for a right-back to cover Mellot and a possible exit for Polish defender Michael Willmann were explored but did not materialise. Castellón finish satisfied with two squad places free. Jacobo de Oro arrived late for the B team from UD Sanse in Segunda Federación.
