CD Castellón supporters are daring to believe in promotion to Primera for the first time in decades. They finished the round second, in the automatic places, after Racing Santander beat Mirandés. Sunday’s victory at Real Valladolid at Zorrilla further underlined their credentials.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the club shared a video on social media of the team’s return, showing the reception for Pablo Hernández’s players.

Dozens of orelluts went to the training ground to congratulate the squad for their effort and the triumph in Pucela. The bond between team and fans is being credited as a core strength.
