Castellón saw off Dépor, Matthys extending a run of six consecutive clean sheets. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, a string of eights and nines reflected a composed display.
Matthys had little to save and was brave under high balls, his form strengthening his Zamora push. Mellot muted Yeremay on his side and helped close out the game, while Alberto dominated duels and marshalled the rearguard. Sienra covered smartly in the box in the first half and maintained the level shown in Valladolid.
Lucas Alcázar enjoyed an eye-catching duel with Mella at SkyFi Castalia and continues to progress. Diego Barri controlled the opening spell and adapted as the game shifted, then collected his fifth booking. Gerenabarrena grew as the minutes passed and finished outstanding, an idol.
Cipenga played with confidence, took risks and tracked back diligently. Suero kept his place, found space and drifted into dangerous pockets until he tired. Camara broke the deadlock with a fine strike and tormented Dépor’s centre-backs.
Cala swung it at the toughest moment with a stunning goal, having also been involved in the first, and worked hard defensively. From the bench, Raúl Sánchez added quality and rebalanced the trio behind Camara, Brignani was firm late on and Pablo Santiago helped at the end. Marco Doué impressed too, but a stoppage-time booking means a suspension.
