CD Castellón have signed attacking midfielder Hamza Bellari from Valencia Mestalla. The Moroccan wide player has agreed a deal until June 2029.
According to AS, the transfer is worth around €150,000. Valencia will retain a sell-on percentage and receive performance-related payments during his time at Castalia.
Born in Nador, Morocco, on 11 March 2003, Bellari came through Mercantil and Girona. He then featured for Pobla de Mafumet, where his dribbling and one v one ability stood out.
In 2023-24 he began with Nàstic’s reserve side before a winter loan to Orihuela CF. He played a notable role as the Alicante club reached the play-off for promotion to Primera RFEF.
His progress prompted Valencia CF to add him for 2024-25, and he played for Mestalla while making senior matchday squads. The following season he joined CD Eldense on loan and continued to develop.
With Eldense last term he made 37 appearances, scored five and supplied six assists, proving influential in their promotion to LaLiga Hypermotion.
Castellón view him as pace, power and direct running for the flanks. He thrives taking on defenders, creating overloads and contributing goals and assists, qualities the sporting department consider ideal for the team’s style.
