Barcelona’s fourth Champions League at Ullevaal Stadion delivered indelible scenes on and off camera, from tears and beer to songs and a delirious dressing-room party.
Ewa Pajor wept at full time as team-mates embraced her after a match-winning double and MVP display in her second season as a culé. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, Cata Coll said they had lost count of the hugs, while Aitana Bonmatí was equally emotional after a gruelling rehabilitation.
Carles Puyol watched from the stands. Jonatan Giráldez, stern-faced, led Barça’s guard of honour for the runners-up, and Ingrid Engen, reunited with former team-mates and her partner Mapi, looked particularly affected.
Alexia Putellas and Marta Torrejón raised the trophy as the blaugrana end erupted. Afterwards came the personal moments, with Pere Romeu embracing Xavi Puig and Rafa Yuste beside Joan Laporta singing the anthem, before the coach broke down among his own in the stands.
During the manteo, fitness coaches Víctor Zamora and Lucas del Campo carried Romeu on their shoulders. Patri Guijarro gathered the captains, hailed Alexia and planted a kiss, having earlier sprinted across the pitch with a giant number four balloon.
In the mixed zone Coll clutched a half-finished Heineken as Quevedo blared in the dressing room. Kika Nazareth and academy players coaxed Alexia into an improvised TikTok, the walk to media turning into a conga led by Cata and Pina, with Kika carrying the trophy and Patri queuing up NUEVAYoL and Follow the Leader. The party moved to the hotel, with dinner, speeches and an Instagram Live from Alexia, Patri and Serrajordi.
