Catena to bring up 100 Osasuna appearances on Sunday | OneFootball

Alejandro Catena will make his 100th Osasuna appearance on Sunday at Anoeta. The centre-back has become a mainstay since arriving in 2023.

According to AS, he joined the Navarre club in the summer of 2023 on a free after leaving Rayo Vallecano, signing a deal through 2028.

Now in his third season at the club he has worked under three coaches, first Jagoba Arrasate, then Vicente Moreno, and this term Alessio Lisci. For each he has been an indispensable figure at centre-back.

This season he has started 25 league matches, amassing 2205 minutes, which makes him one of Lisci’s most used players. He has also scored two goals.

His century follows 34 outings under Arrasate, 30 in the league, one in the Copa, two in the Conference and one in the Supercopa. Last season he featured 37 times, 35 in the league and two in the Copa. This campaign also includes three appearances in the Copa.
