The left-back, known for her impressive performances, expressed her joy at extending her stay at a club that feels like “home”.
Steph Catley, since her debut as a substitute in the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-final against Paris Saint-Germain in August 2020, has consistently proven her worth to Arsenal since.
The Australian international has made an impressive 74 appearances, scoring three goals for the Gunners.
Over the 2022/23 season, Catley has excelled in her customary position on the left side of defence, as well as stepping into central defence when required.
She played a crucial role in Arsenal’s 5-1 victory against Champions League holders Lyon in October 2022, reflecting her skill and adaptability on the field.
Head Coach Jonas Eidevall and Head of Women’s Football Clare Wheatley, commended Catley’s performance and professionalism.
