CBF brings forward Botafogo v Santos and confirms rounds 19-24 schedule | OneFootball

The federation announced the detailed fixture list for rounds 19 to 24 of the Campeonato Brasileiro and confirmed that Botafogo v Santos has been brought forward. The match will be played on 16 July at 19:30 at Nilton Santos Stadium, while the World Cup is ongoing.

It will mark Santos' return after the tournament pause. The club will be among the first back in league action, with other fixtures also scheduled for that date.

CBF also set adjustments to kick-off times after talks with clubs involved in forming the Liga do Futebol Brasileiro. The aim is to cut games in less suitable slots for supporters, such as 19:00 on weekdays and later on Sundays.

Santos' upcoming league fixtures are as follows, round 19, Thursday 16 July, 19:30, Botafogo v Santos at Nilton Santos, round 20, Saturday 25 July, 18:30, Santos v Chapecoense, round 21, São Paulo v Santos, date and time to be confirmed.

Round 22, Sunday 9 August, 18:30, Santos v Athletico Paranaense, round 23, Sunday 16 August, 16:00, Vasco v Santos, round 24, Saturday 22 August, 18:30, Santos v Mirassol.

Cuca's side continue to compete in the Campeonato Brasileiro, the Copa do Brasil and the Copa Sudamericana.
