According to Coluna Do Fla, the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol intends to pay one million dollars, about R$ 5.2 million, to each Brazil player if they win the World Cup, putting Flamengo’s Danilo in line for the bonus.
Ancelotti has already said Danilo will be in Brazil’s final squad for the 2026 tournament, and he would miss out only in the event of injury.
The CBF has discussed the prize with senior figures in the group, namely Alisson, Danilo, Marquinhos, Casemiro, Bruno Guimarães and Vini Jr, with payment planned for immediately after the finals if the title is secured.
FIFA will award 50 million dollars, around R$ 260 million, to the champions, of which R$ 135.2 million is set aside for the Brazil squad.
Brazil play Croatia at 21:00 Brasília time on Tuesday 31 in a World Cup warm-up in the United States. The match will be shown on Rede Globo, on SporTV, and on GETV via YouTube.
