The Brazilian Football Confederation announced the 2026 Supercopa Rei prize fund on Friday. Corinthians and Flamengo will each receive R$ 6.35 million as a fixed fee, up R$ 300,000 on the R$ 6.05 million paid to Botafogo and Flamengo in 2025. The champions will also get US$ 1 million, R$ 5.22 million at the current rate, passed on by Conmebol.

The match pits Corinthians, the Copa do Brasil holders, against Flamengo, the Brasileirão winners, at Mané Garrincha in Brasília on Sunday 1 February at 16:00.

Despite the higher fixed fee, the champions’ total will be lower than in 2025 because the dollar was stronger in January last year. A Corinthians win would be worth about R$ 11.57 million, while Flamengo took roughly R$ 12 million when they beat Botafogo in the last Supercopa.

If they lift the trophy, Corinthians would have to pay R$ 4.7 million in bonuses to Memphis Depay under his contract. Part of any prize may be withheld by Caixa Econômica Federal, as happened with the 2025 Copa do Brasil payouts and other women’s team titles.

Corinthians could also boost revenue on Sunday in the Copa das Campeãs, the Women’s Club World Cup. If the Brabas overcome Arsenal of England, the club will earn US$ 2.3 million, with the runners-up receiving US$ 1 million.
