The CBF has confirmed prize money for the 2026 Supercopa Rei, raising the fixed fee while the champion’s overall take will be lower than in 2025. The federation announced that Corinthians, Copa do Brasil holders, face Flamengo, Brasileirão winners, on Sunday 1 February at 16:00 at Mané Garrincha in Brasília.
Both clubs are guaranteed R$ 6.35 million each, up R$ 300,000 on the R$ 6.05 million paid to Botafogo and Flamengo last year. The winners also receive US$ 1 million, worth R$ 5.22 million at today’s rate, passed on by Conmebol.
Despite the higher fixed fee, the winner’s total will be lower than last year’s because the dollar was stronger in January 2025. A Corinthians victory would be worth about R$ 11.57 million, whereas Flamengo took roughly R$ 12 million after beating Botafogo.
If Corinthians lift the trophy, they are set to pay Memphis Depay a R$ 4.7 million bonus under his contract. Part of the sum could be retained by Caixa Econômica Federal, as happened with the 2025 Copa do Brasil prizes and other women’s team titles.
Corinthians could further boost revenue next Sunday in the Copa das Campeãs, the Women’s Club World Cup. If the Brabas overcome Arsenal of England, the club will collect US$ 2.3 million, about R$ 12 million, with the runners-up earning US$ 1 million, R$ 5.22 million.
