CBF releases Série B fixture list, see details here
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) released this Friday the basic schedule for all 38 rounds of the Série B of the Brazilian Championship. This season, the national competition will start on March 20 and end on November 14.
New format
This year, the competition will have 38 rounds in a round-robin format, which will determine the promotion of the first and second place teams. The remaining two promotion spots will be decided after the end of the round-robin competition through a "playoff", with home and away matches. The 3rd place team will face the 6th, and the 4th will compete against the 5th.

Another major change was the clubs' decision to alter the initial schedule, which planned a break during the World Cup period. Now, Série B will continue with matches while the World Cup is ongoing.
