The CBF announced prize money for the Copa do Brasil, with Santos entering at the fifth phase and should receive R$ two million for participation.

There will be a single-match final, and the runners-up will take a place in the preliminary stage of the 2027 Libertadores. Of 126 clubs, the first four phases are one-off ties decided by penalties, then two-legged ties from the fifth phase to the semi-finals.

The first phase is slated for 18 or 19 February, with the fifth phase pencilled in for 22 or 23 April.

Round of 16 first legs are on one or two August, returns on five or eight August. The quarter-finals run 26 or 27 August then two or three September, the semi-finals one and eight November, and the final on 6 December.

Fifth-phase participants receive R$ two million, the round of 16 R$ three million, the quarter-finals R$ four million, and the semi-finals R$ nine million. The final pays R$ 34 million to the runners-up and R$ 78 million to the champions. Earlier-round payouts vary by group.
