For Corinthians, goalkeeper Hugo Souza and full-backs Matheus Bidu and Matheuzinho are under assessment for the new cycle. Midfielder Breno Bidon is well regarded but will miss the derby.

The announcement is expected between 8 and 11 September. Brazil assemble in Australia on 21 September, play the Socceroos on 25 in Townsville and 29 in Brisbane, then face India in Kolkata on 3 October.
