CBF sets Copa do Brasil last 16 draw for 26 May, Palmeiras’ possible opponents

Palmeiras have reached the Copa do Brasil sixth stage, the round of 16, after winning both legs against Jacuipense.

The federation announced that the draw will take place on 26 May at 11:00 Brasília time at its headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.

There are no restrictions at this stage, so Palmeiras could face any of the following clubs: Internacional, Cruzeiro, Fluminense, Juventude, Vasco, Santos, Mirassol, Atlético-MG, Remo, Chapecoense, Athletico-PR, Grêmio, Corinthians, Fortaleza and Vitória.

The ties will be played after the World Cup, and are scheduled for the first week of August, with first legs on one and two August and second legs on five and six August.

Next up, Palmeiras face Cruzeiro in the Brasileirão on 16 May at 21:00 Brasília time.
