The CBF will open an extraordinary domestic transfer window from nine to 17 July ahead of the Brasileirão return, while Corinthians remain under a FIFA transfer ban.
The federation said in a document to clubs that the change follows the advancement of round 19 while the league remains paused for the World Cup. Although the tournament ends on Sunday 19 July, four matches are set for 16 and 17 July.
On 16 July, Botafogo v Santos and Vitória v Vasco da Gama are scheduled for 19h30, with Mirassol v Grêmio at 21h30. On 17 July, Fluminense v Red Bull Bragantino is at 21h30.
The window will cover only domestic registrations, aimed at preserving competitive balance. The previously scheduled second window, 20 July to 11 September, covering all transfers, remains unchanged, as set out in the RGR.
Corinthians are not set to benefit, having been under a FIFA transfer ban since 21 May over unpaid sums from the August 2024 signing of midfielder José Martínez from Philadelphia Union. The club can still scout players but cannot register new signings while the sanction stands.
Corinthians resume their league campaign on 23 July against Remo at 19h30 at Neo Química Arena. Before that, they travel to Paraná for a friendly with Cascavel on 12 July at 16h.
