CBF will restrict Série A matches to stadiums fitted with semi-automated offside, meaning displaced clubs must host only at equipped venues.
According to Globo.com, there is no start date yet for the policy, though implementation is in its final phase.
Cameras are being installed in 19 stadiums used by the 20 top-flight clubs, with Maracanã shared by Flamengo and Fluminense, and costs covered by CBF.
Because of the rule, Palmeiras has decided to fund installation at Arena Crefisa Barueri, their stand-in home when Nubank Parque hosts concerts. São Paulo cannot use Brinco de Ouro if Morumbi is unavailable.
One option the club have used this season is the estádio Cícero de Souza Marques in Bragança Paulista, home of Red Bull Bragantino.
They will face Athletico-PR there on the 22nd in the 19th round, the first match after the World Cup.
CBF and Genius, the supplier, are still finishing installation, and youth fixtures in the coming days will be used for tests.
Each venue will house 27 high-end mobile phones in strategic positions to generate a virtual replica of play, with AI and VAR officials analysing incidents. Reviews are promised to be quicker and less error prone.
