CD Castellón announced on Thursday that Carlos Segura, one of their leading academy talents and the B team’s top scorer for the past two seasons, has signed a new deal. He will remain with the club regardless of the outcome of the play-out for survival in Segunda RFEF against SD Logroñés.
Segura, from Onda in Castellón and born in 2003, is in his second season with the albinegros. Last year he scored 16 goals and was key to their promotion.

This season he has bettered those numbers, reaching 19 goals to date.
The forward also made his first-team debut in the Copa del Rey.
The new agreement includes clauses that allow a unilateral extension in future.
