CD Castellón sell Marco Doué to Cádiz for €500,000 plus sell-on | OneFootball

Cádiz have signed Marc-Olivier Doué Séné from CD Castellón for €500,000, with Castellón retaining a percentage of any future sale.

The Frenchman joined Castellón last summer on a free from Ponferradina in Primera RFEF. In his first campaign he made 33 competitive appearances, six of them starts, totalling 865 minutes.

Though he did not nail down a starting place, largely behind Diego Barri and Beñat Gerenabarrena, he impressed with his work-rate and timing of runs. He scored three goals, including the winner at Riazor and the strike that completed the comeback against Málaga.

This season he featured off the bench in the first two league matches.

He travelled to Vigo before matchday three but was left out of the squad late on. The move was confirmed today.
