CD Castellón to unveil retro kit at Madrid Fashion Week for LaLiga’s first Jornada Retro | OneFootball

CD Castellón will take part in LaLiga's first Jornada Retro and will release a limited-edition retro kit. The strip will be unveiled on Thursday 19 March at Madrid's Fashion Week.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the themed matchday runs from 10 to 13 April, with Castellón on the road at Mirandés, date and time to be confirmed.

Most teams will wear new shirts inspired by iconic editions from their past. Referees will also don a special design for the occasion.

The programme is designed to extend beyond kits and the matches, acting as a cross-cutting initiative involving clubs, talents, legends, sponsors and wider figures across LaLiga's ecosystem.

Broadcasts will carry retro-styled graphics and a bespoke visual identity on television and digital platforms, aiming to make the event a shared celebration of football’s past and present.

Kits from all 38 participating clubs will be presented at MBFWMadrid, one of the creative industry's leading international showcases. The initiative is framed as a tribute to club histories and symbols, bringing the past into the present while fostering experiences that connect with supporters.
