According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, CD Castellón have made 16 official visits to UD Las Palmas, recording three wins, four draws and nine defeats. They have fared better in Primera División than in Segunda.
Their first top-flight victory came in 1972/73, a 0-1 success settled late by Ortuño in a campaign that brought fifth place and a Copa final. They won again in 1981/82, 1-3, with two from Lotina and one from Blanco. Across three Primera trips, they have two wins and one defeat.
Castellón also lifted the Copa de la Liga de Segunda against Las Palmas in 1984. They won the first leg at Castalia 3-1, playing much of it with 10 after Viña’s dismissal, thanks to Javi Valls, Alcañiz and Pedro López. A 1-1 draw in the return, with Lafita scoring, sealed the trophy, whose whereabouts now appear unknown.
There has been one Copa del Rey meeting in Las Palmas, a draw in 1985/86. In the second tier, their 11 trips have produced eight defeats, two draws and just one win. That sole victory arrived in 1992, a 1-2 success secured by a Guillermo brace under Quique Hernández.
The most recent visit was in 2020/21, a 2-1 defeat despite a goal from Rafa Gálvez, with Óscar Cano in charge.
