Isa Ranieri, wife of Everton Cebolinha, has denied that family security issues in Rio de Janeiro are behind talk of a Flamengo exit. According to Coluna Do Fla, she moved to quash rumours around the winger’s future.

Her message followed reports that she had witnessed a violent incident, prompting concerns about remaining in the city. She said no such situation had occurred.

Cebolinha recently turned down an offer from Botafogo, while interest from Vasco has not progressed. He was also close to joining Krasnodar in Russia, a move the club ultimately chose not to pursue.

He is prioritising proposals from European clubs for the next step of his career, though talks have not advanced beyond initial conversations.

Signed from Benfica in June 2022 for 16 million euros, he has made 190 appearances, scoring 21 goals and providing 25 assists. He has won nine trophies with the Rio club.

His contract runs to December 2026 with no renewal planned by the club. He is free to negotiate a move with other teams, and his future remains unresolved as Friday 11 approaches, the final day of the window.
