Celta Vigo strike deal to sign Man United star | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Celta Vigo have this week sewn up an agreement with Premier League giants Manchester United, over the signing of a member of the latter’s goalkeeper ranks.

The shot-stopper all set to take his talents to Galicia for the season ahead? Altay Bayındır.

Turkish international Bayindir is for his part fresh off a difficult individual campaign at Old Trafford last time out. Sitting behind the impressive Senne Lammens in Manchester United’s pecking order between the posts, the 28-year-old was restricted to just six Premier League appearances.

The expectation has therefore long been that Bayindir would be on the move before the summer is out. And as alluded to above, this week, a deal towards as much has been confirmed.

The info comes courtesy of transfer market journalist Fabrizio Romano, who reports:

‘Celta Vigo have agreed a deal with Man United to sign Altay Bayindir as new goalkeeper, here we go! Understand it’s a loan move with €4m buy option, fee subject to changes based on appearances.’
