Celtic have bolstered their defence ahead of Sunday’s Glasgow derby with the signing of Liverpool centre-back Nat Phillips.
The Hoops have been ravaged by injuries to the heart of their defence ahead of this weekend’s trip to Ibrox, with Cameron Carter-Vickers, Maik Nawrocki and Stephen Welsh all ruled out.

But Phillips is in line for a baptism of fire after joining on a six-month loan from Liverpool.
It is unclear as yet if the deal includes an option for the Scottish champions to make it permanent.
The 26-year-old has been at Anfield since 2016 and previously spent time out on loan at Stuttgart and Bournemouth.
