Ahead of the club’s final game of the season, Celtic have announced that midfielders Tom Rogic and Nir Bitton will leave this summer.

Both are among the champions’ longest-serving players having both been in Glasgow for almost a decade.

Although both had a further year left on their deals at Parkhead, they have made the decision to move on this summer.

“While we are very sad to see both Tom and Nir leave the club, we totally respect their decisions in wanting to seek a different challenge in football, having both played their part in our success for the past decade,” manager Ange Postecoglou stated.

“They have certainly made such a tremendous contribution to Celtic over such a long and successful period for the club and I understand that in their minds the time is right to move on.

“I am sure they will leave with the sincere best wishes of our supporters having given so much of themselves to Celtic.”

Both will say their final farewells to the Hoops faithful on Saturday afternoon as Celtic lift the league trophy at home against Motherwell.
