Celtic face trip to St Mirren in Scottish Cup fifth round | OneFootball

Celtic will continue their defence of the Scottish Cup with an away tie against St Mirren in the fifth round of the competition.

Brendan Rodgers' side booked their place in the draw with a comfortable 5-0 victory over Highland League side, Buckie Thistle, the goals coming from Paulo Bernardo, Odin Holm, Kyogo, Luis Palma and Rocco Vata.

St Mirren progressed to the fifth round thanks to a 1-0 home win over Queen of the South, with Alex Gogic scoring the only goal of the game. On-loan Celt, Hyeokkyu Kwon, made his debut for the Saints, and played well in the game.

This Scottish Cup tie will be the third meeting between Celtic and St Mirren this season. At the beginning of November, the Hoops won 2-1 at home while the clash in Paisley on January 2 saw Celtic win that league encounter 3-0.

The Scottish Cup Fifth Round ties are scheduled for the weekend of February 10. Further fixture information to follow.
