Celtic defender Cameron Carter-Vickers has been ruled out of action for up to five months, manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed.
The USA international went down in serious pain towards the end of Thursday night's 2-1 win over Sturm Graz in the Europa League with an Achilles issue.
Addressing the issue on Friday following tests, Rodgers has revealed that he will be without Carter-Vickers for between 'three to five months'.

The news comes at the worst possible time with a trip to Tynecastle on Sunday against league leaders Hearts followed by a Scottish League Cup semi-final clash with Rangers.
Auston Trusty is fit again, Dane Murray may be called upon, while Manchester City loanee Jahmai Simpson-Pusey could also be a contender to replace Carter-Vickers, although both he and Hayato Inamura were left out of Celtic's Europa League squad.
