Celtic put in another dominant display to see off Livingston and restore their nine-point lead over Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Scorers: Obileye (OG) 23′, Furuhashi 45′; Devlin 45+2′.
It was another game where the Scottish champions had complete control of large portions of the match, mustering up 77% possession in a match that ended up tighter in the scoreline than it was on the pitch.
The early Celtic pressure eventually told in the 23rd minute when a low cross from Liel Abada was turned into his own at the near post by Ayo Obileye.
Abada was involved again for the second goal after being played in by Anthony Ralston down the right but this time his cross found a Celtic player and Kyogo Furuhashi was on hand to smash the ball home to extend their lead.
It looked at that point that it was going to be a long night for Livingston but the visitors pulled one back with their first shot on goal in first half stoppage time with captain Nicky Devlin squeezing past Joe Hart from close range.
Anthony Ralston plays in Liel Abada down the right with a superb pass, and the Israeli winger picks out Kyogo in the middle who smashes it home
Cristian Montano saw a fierce left-footed strike flash just wide early in the second period but that was as close as David Martindale’s side got to getting back into the game before Abada saw a deserved goal ruled out for offside by VAR.
Ange Postecogolu’s side open back up a nine-point gap at the top with their 10th win a row and a meeting with St.Johnstone to come on Saturday.
