Celtic secure Junior Adamu on loan from Freiburg

Celtic have completed the loan signing of Junior Adamu from Freiburg for the rest of the season, according to BuLi News.

Freiburg sporting director Klemens Hartenbach cited playing time as the main reason for the move.

He said Adamu has always given his best, but recent minutes were not ideal for club or player, so they hope the move provides fresh impetus.

Adamu has scored two goals in 18 appearances across all competitions for Freiburg this season.

The 24-year-old joined Freiburg from RB Salzburg in 2023.
