Celtic starting XI to face FC Kairat in UCL play-off | OneFootball

Celtic are in European action at Paradise tonight (Wednesday) as the champions of Scotland take on FC Kairat of Kazakhstan in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League play-off round.

Tonight is the fourth time that the Celts have faced Kazakh opposition in Europe's top competition, and Brendan Rodgers will be hoping that his side can make it another night to remember under the Paradise lights.

And ahead of tonight’s huge match at Celtic Park, the Celtic manager has made six changes to his side after Friday night’s League Cup victory over Falkirk.

Kasper Schmeichel starts in goals for the Celts, whilst Liam Scales and Cameron Carter-Vickers return to the centre of defence.

Benjamin Nygren and Reo Hatate join Callum McGregor in the heart of the Celtic midfield and Adam Idah will lead the line from the start.
