Celtic will take on Dunfermline Athletic in the Scottish FA Cup final this Saturday at Hampden Park.

After sealing the Scottish Premiership title on the final day of the season, Martin O’Neill’s side now has the chance to complete a domestic double. They head into the final in strong form, unbeaten in their last eight matches across all competitions.

Their recent 3-1 comeback win over Hearts secured a fifth straight league title and highlighted their attacking strength, with the team averaging more than two goals per game during this run. Alongside their sharp attack, Celtic have also remained well-organised defensively.

Celtic team news

A major setback for the squad is the absence of Czech forward Tomas Cvancara, whose loan spell has been cut short due to a serious groin injury.

Meanwhile, Kelechi Iheanacho is pushing for a starting role after making a big impact from the bench in the title-winning victory against Hearts.

He is expected to come into the lineup in place of Sebastian Tounekti on the wing, forming an attacking trio alongside Hyun Jun Yang and Daizen Maeda.

In midfield, captain Callum McGregor continues to lead by example, partnering Arne Engels in a dynamic and balanced setup.

Celtic head into the final fully focused on completing a domestic double, although they remain without several key players through injury, including Colby Donovan, Julian Araujo, Kasper Schmeichel, Adam Montgomery, Cameron Carter-Vickers, and Jota.
