Celtic attacker Kyogo has been included in the EAFC Team of the Week after his brace against St Johnstone. The striker scored twice in the second half to extend Celtic’s lead at the top of the table to 14 points going into today’s Glasgow Derby.

Kyogo has been included in the TOTW, earning a special card on the game.

Since arriving from Vissel Kobe in 2021, Kyogo has become a key part of the club’s successes under Ange Postecoglou and now Brendan. In 158 appearances, Kyogo has scored 83 goals and assisted on 18 occasions.

MLS side Atlanta United, who recently appointed Ronny Deila as Head Coach, have been cited as having an interest in the 29-year-old. The American outfit will reportedly offer £10m for the player that turns 30 this month. Given his value in goals to the club, Celtic would be demanding north of that figure if they were even to entertain losing the Japanese star.
