Celtic’s Tynecastle visit selected by Sky Sports for broadcast | OneFootball

Celtic’s Premiership visit to Tynecastle has been moved after being selected for live television coverage by Sky Sports.

The Hoops had originally been scheduled to face Hearts on Saturday, November 28. However, after the latest picks were confirmed by the broadcaster, the fixture will now take place on Sunday, November 29.

Hearts travel to Celtic Park for the first league meeting between the clubs on October 17 before Martin O’Neill’s side make the journey east the following month.

Tynecastle is a notoriously difficult venue to visit and after the ending to last season; in which Celtic nicked the title off the Jambos in the closing stages to mimic 1986 as goals from Daizen Maeda and Callum Osmand sealed the title.

Celtic were not able to conquer Hearts in Gorgie last season, losing the first meeting before a draw in the second visit. It proved to be a vital point given that the sides faced off in that memorable final day of the season with a win being required for a Celtic title. The November meeting will therefore bring together the sides again during another potentially important stage of the campaign.
