Kortrijk have announced the signing of 26-year-old forward Goduine Koyalipou from Lens. The striker, who played for Beveren a few seasons ago, returns to Belgian football for a season long loan, with Kortrijk having negotiated a purchase option as part of the deal. The Central African Republic international will certainly provide the Belgian side with attacking reinforcements, even if he has not quite managed to hit the same heights as he had during spells with Beveren and CSKA Sofia in recent seasons.

Koyalipou came through the Niort youth system before joining Swiss side Lausanne in 2021 on a free transfer. In 2023 he left to join Beveren after scoring four goals in 25 games, with a successful spell on loan at Avranches where he scored 13 goals in 19 games. During his one and only season in Belgium, Koyalipou was a huge success. The 2023/2024 campaign saw him score 17 goals in 32 games and earn a move to CSKA Sofia.

Koyalipou only lasted six months in Bulgaria, but that was because he carried on scoring goals for fun. After 15 goals in just 17 games he was snapped up by Lens in January 2025. However, he struggled to cement a place in the Lens side. After four goals in 15 games, he spent the 2025/2026 season out on loan. The first loan spell was with Levante in La Liga, where he scored two goals in four games. He then joined Angers for the back end of the Ligue 1 season, scoring two goals in 13 games.
