Reigning champions LD Alajuelense and Antigua GFC will follow with their second leg meeting in the semifinals.

If either series ends tied on aggregate, away goals will determine a winner. If teams are tied on away goals, extra time and penalties (if necessary) will decide the encounter.

CD Águila vs. FC Motagua

CD Águila hosts FC Motagua at Estadio Cuscatlán in San Salvador, El Salvador to define the second winner of the Play-In round. The match marks the second meeting for the two clubs in an international tournament.

Motagua leads the series 2-nil after winning the first leg at home last Tuesday. Luis Vega and Agustín Auzmendi scored for the Honduran side in the opening encounter.

Águila will aim to continue its positive momentum on home soil to turn the series around. The Salvadoran side is undefeated at home with two wins and a draw. The club is seeking qualification for a 15th all-time appearance in the Concacaf Champions Cup.

Motagua will look to defend its lead to secure its 19th appearance in the CCC. Auzmendi is the club’s all-time scorer in the CCAC with 10 goals in 15 matches and co-leads the current squad alongside Rubilio Castillo with three goals each.

LD Alajuelense vs. Antigua GFC

LD Alajuelense and Antigua GFC meet at Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto in Alajuela, Costa Rica to determine the first finalist of the 2024 edition. Both sides fought to a nil-nil draw in the first leg last Tuesday in Antigua, Guatemala.

Defending champions LD Alajuelense remain undefeated following 17 CCAC fixtures over the tournament’s two editions, claiming 12 wins and five draws. Diego Campos leads the scoring in the current edition with six goals.

Antigua eye another clean sheet after not conceding in its past three matches. Santiago Gómez is the club’s top scorer with four goals.

The Guatemalan side remains undefeated in its debut campaign, with three wins and four draws, and seeks to advance to the final with a victory or a non-scoreless draw.
