Cesar Peixoto says teenage forward Sean Neave has shown the appetite he wants at Wolves after the Newcastle United loanee impressed at Everton in the EFL Cup shortly before the international break.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, his Goodison Park outing brought a first 90 minutes and first time in the starting XI for Wolves, with Peixoto praising his work to win the ball, defend and attack, and his willingness to play wide despite it not being his natural role.
The 19-year-old is competing for minutes at Molineux with Raul Jimenez and Adam Armstrong ahead of him in the pecking order.
Peixoto regards Neave as driven to succeed at the club and in his career, noting his quality and potential and stressing how hard it is to find a third striker ready to accept limited chances behind the senior forwards.
Wolves secured a season-long loan for Neave late on deadline day, the England youth international’s first senior spell away from his parent club.
He has made three appearances in Old Gold and will hope to build on them when domestic action resumes after the international break.
