Cesc Fàbregas has addressed the ongoing speculation linking him to the vacant managerial position at Chelsea. Speaking during a press conference ahead of Como’s clash with Udinese, the Spanish tactician was quick to dismiss the rumors and reaffirm his commitment to his current project in Italy.
Despite his deep historical ties to Stamford Bridge, Fàbregas made it clear that his focus remains entirely on the Lariani. When asked specifically about the links to the Blues, he stated:
He said, relayed by SOSFanta: “Nothing to say. I am here and I am the coach of Como, and I hope for a fairly long period.”
Notably, Fàbregas’s name has surfaced in English media reports following Chelsea’s latest managerial search. However, the World Cup winner appears determined to continue the growth of his Como side, which has shown significant progress under his leadership. Furthermore, he emphasized his desire to keep improving the club’s “work culture” and mental approach as they move into 2026.
Consequently, it seems Chelsea will have to look elsewhere for their next appointment, as Fàbregas remains fully invested in his vision at the Stadio Sinigaglia.
