MIAMI, FL – The 2026 calendar year promises to be one of the most memorable in Concacaf history, with a plethora of regional competitions and a FIFA World Cup hosted in North America.

2026 Concacaf W U-17 Qualifiers

The 2026 Concacaf W U-17 Qualifiers open the calendar of activities with Round One from January 24 to February 2, featuring 29 Member Associations competing in four countries.

The six group winners and the two best second-place finishers will advance to the Final Round in March, joining the four pre-seeded top-ranked teams: Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the United States.

The Qualifiers will determine the four Concacaf representatives for the FIFA Women's U-17 World Cup Morocco 2026.

FIFA Women’s Champions Cup 2026

Inaugural Concacaf W Champions Cup winner, Gotham FC, seeks to become the first winner of the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.

The U.S. side begins its quest in the semifinals against SC Corinthians on January 28 in London, UK. Arsenal Women FC and ASFAR will face off to decide the other finalist.

The Final and Third Place Match will take place at Emirates Stadium on February 1.

2026 Concacaf Champions Cup

The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup, the premier men’s club competition in the region, will kick off its 61st edition the first week of February, with 27 clubs vying to become the champion of the region and qualify for the FIFA Intercontinental Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

Defending champions Cruz Azul and Mexico City rivals Club América enter the 2026 edition tied with seven titles as the all-time leaders in the competition.

Each round will feature a home-and-home series, with the winner crowned in a single-leg Final on May 30.

2026 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers

The 2026 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers will take place from February 3 to 12 and include the participation of 34 Member Associations across six countries.

The eight group winners will advance to the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026.

2026 Concacaf U-20 Qualifiers 

The 2026 Concacaf U-20 Qualifiers, the qualifying competition for the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship, will take place from February 23 to March 4 across three venues in Central America and the Caribbean.

The 32 participating men's U-20 teams are split into two groups of six, and four groups of five. The first-place team from each group will advance to the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship, joining the six top-ranked nations that are pre-qualified directly to the tournament.

2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers

The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers continue during the March and April FIFA international match windows after kicking off its first round of matches last November. The tournament pits 29 national teams looking to secure the top of their respective groups, with the six group winners qualifying to the 2026 Concacaf W Championship.

2026 FIFA Play-Off Tournament

The World Cup dream is still alive for two Concacaf nations, who will seek to secure one of the final available qualification berths to the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup through the FIFA Play-Off Tournament from March 26 to 31.

Jamaica (Pathway 1) and Suriname (Pathway 2) will aim to complete their qualification campaigns by winning their respective brackets.

 2025/26 Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals

The 2025/26 Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals will culminate the second edition of the premier women’s club tournament in the region, with the semifinals on May 20 and the Final on May 23.

The closing stage of the 2025/26 edition will decide the next champion and a berth in the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup 2027 and FIFA Women’s Club World Cup 2028. 

Defending champions Gotham FC will seek a second title, while Club América Femenil, CF Pachuca Femenil and Washington Spirit all strive to collect its first trophy in the competition.

2026 FIFA World Cup

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will take place from June 11 to July 19, across 16 host cities in Canada, Mexico, and the United States of America.

The three co-hosts will represent Concacaf along the likes of Panama, Curaçao, and Haiti, the three group winners in the Final Round of the region’s World Cup qualification tournament. Concacaf could have as many as eight representatives depending on Jamaica and Suriname’s efforts in the FIFA Play-Off Tournament.

The top two teams in each group, along with the eight best third-place teams, will advance to the Round of 32. From that stage onward, the competition will be played in a knockout format to decide the next world champion.

2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship 

The 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship is scheduled for the summer of 2026, running from July 25 to August 9, and will feature the region's 12 best men's U-20 national teams divided into three groups of four.

The tournament will also serve as the qualifying competition for both the 2027 FIFA Men's U-20 World Cup and the LA 2028 Summer Olympics.

2026 Concacaf Central American Cup 

The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup will be the fourth edition of the premier club tournament involving only Central American clubs, taking place from July to December.

Costa Rica giant LD Alajuelense will seek to win a fourth consecutive crown and is the only team to have hoisted the trophy. 

2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup 

The 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup will be the fourth edition of the premier club tournament involving only Caribbean clubs, taking place from August to December.

SV Robinhood, Cavalier FC, and Mount Pleasant FA are the clubs that have won the competition in its first three editions.

Leagues Cup 2026

The Leagues Cup 2026 will be the fourth edition of the annual tournament between Major League Soccer and LIGA MX clubs, taking place from August to September.

The tournament will feature 36 clubs, including all 18 LIGA MX teams and 18 qualifying MLS clubs, to decide three berths in the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup.

2026/27 Concacaf W Champions Cup 

The 2026/27 Concacaf W Champions Cup will be the third edition of the region’s premier women’s club championship, starting with the Group Stage from August to October

Aside from deciding the next champion, the tournament winner will also secure a berth in the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup 2028 and FIFA Women’s Club World Cup 2028. 

FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup

The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Poland 2026 will crown the next champion in the women’s category, when the tournament takes place from September 5 to 27. 

Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico and the United States will be the four Concacaf participants by virtue of their standing in the 2025 Concacaf Women's U-20 Championship.

2026/27 Concacaf Nations League

The 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League Group Stage and Quarterfinals will take place in September, October, and November, followed by the Finals in March of next year. 

2026 Concacaf W Championship

The 2026 Concacaf W Championship will pit the six group winners of the Concacaf W Qualifiers, with top-ranked USA and Canada in November-December to determine which nations advance to the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027 and the LA 2028 Summer Olympics.

2026 FIFA Women's U-17 World Cup

The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026 will crown the next champion in the women’s category. The four Concacaf representatives will be decided from the 2026 Concacaf Women's U-17 Qualifiers earlier in the year.

2026 FIFA Men's U-17 World Cup

The FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026 will crown the next champion in the men’s category. The eight group winners in the 2026 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers will represent the region in their respective quests for a world championship.

2026 FIFA Intercontinental Cup

The 2026 FIFA Intercontinental Cup will crown the next champion in men’s club football when the continental winners meet in December.

The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup winner will represent the region by starting its quest in the FIFA Derby of the Americas against the winner of CONMEBOL’s 2026 Copa Libertadores. The winner of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League will await in the Final of the tournament.
