The Champions League 2026/27 draw pots are set after Wednesday's final qualifiers confirmed the last four places, completing a 36-team field.

El Periódico Mediterráneo reports that 29 clubs qualified via last season's league finish, with seven coming through the preliminaries. Spain and England have five entrants each thanks to UEFA coefficient spots, Germany and Italy four apiece, and France three.

Aston Villa qualified both through the Premier League and by winning the Europa League. That dual route freed an extra Portuguese berth, taken by Sporting CP as the highest-ranked side not directly into the league phase.

Bodo/Glimt, LASK, Sabah, AEK Athens, Fenerbahçe, Viking and Slovan Bratislava completed the line-up and have been slotted into pots three and four based on UEFA coefficient.

Pot 1: Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Manchester City, Inter Milan, Arsenal, Barcelona, Atlético Madrid.

Pot 3: Feyenoord, Lille, Bodo/Glimt, Napoli, RB Leipzig, Villarreal, Fenerbahçe, Shakhtar Donetsk, Galatasaray.

Pot 4: Slavia Prague, Slovan Bratislava, Stuttgart, AEK Athens, LASK, Como, RC Lens, Viking, Sabah FK.

Under the format introduced three seasons ago, the pots act as starting points only. Each club will face two opponents from each pot, and teams from the same federation cannot be paired.
