Atalanta's coach, Ivan Juric, has just confirmed that Ademola Lookman will not be part of the squad to face PSG at the Parc des Princes in the Champions League. This is despite the player being named on the UEFA list. "It will be a great joy to face PSG, currently the strongest team in the world. We'll have to be perfect and hope they're not at their very best. We believe in our abilities. It will also be a huge joy for me, as it's my first time participating in the Champions League." said Ivan Juric after Atalanta's 4-1 victory over Lecce.

Asked about the Nigerian winger's absence, the Croatian coach was blunt: "Lookman in Paris? I don't think so, the situation is unpleasant and not good. He has given a lot to Atalanta, and Atalanta has given a lot to him. We need players who are ready, who want to progress and persevere. We'll see."

Tensions between Lookman and the club's management have been simmering for months, stemming from a failed transfer to Inter Milan during the last transfer window.
