Harry Kane is not fit to start for Bayern Munich at Atalanta in the Champions League round of 16 first leg, with the line-ups confirmed in Bergamo.

According to Football Italia, Atalanta are the only Italian side left after Juventus and Inter fell in the play-offs and Napoli departed following the league phase. La Dea beat Borussia Dortmund in the play-offs to reach Bayern, who qualified automatically by finishing second in the league phase.

Raffaele Palladino sets up in a 4-4-2 and goes with a front two. Ederson, Charles De Ketelaere and Giacomo Raspadori are injured, while Giorgio Scalvini is suspended after his late red card against Dortmund.

Kane missed Saturday’s 4-1 Bundesliga win over Borussia Moenchengladbach and is replaced up front by Nicolas Jackson. Manuel Neuer and Alphonso Davies remain out injured, so Jonas Urbig starts in goal and Konrad Laimer fills in at left-back for Vincent Kompany’s side.

Kick-off is at 20.00 GMT, with the second leg on Wednesday, 18 March.

Atalanta 4-4-2, Carnesecchi, Zappacosta, Hien, Kolasinac, Bernasconi, Sulemana, De Roon, Pasalic, Zalewski, Scamacca, Krstovic. Bayern 4-2-3-1, Urbig, Stanisic, Upamecano, Tah, Laimer, Kimmich, Pavlovic, Olise, Gnabry, Diaz, Jackson.
