Between the home fixture against Burnley, the showdown with Arsenal, and—above all—the high-stakes duel against Barça in the Champions League, Chelsea were hoping to rely on their key players for the end of 2025. Chief among them was Cole Palmer. But, speaking ahead of the Burnley game, Enzo Maresca delivered some bad news.
"Cole Palmer will probably not be available tomorrow, nor for the match against Barcelona, nor for the one against Arsenal. Unfortunately, he had an accident at home and injured his toe, but it's nothing serious, even though he won't be back next week," explained the coach.
