Champions League draw sends Lille to Arsenal, Bayern among heavyweights | OneFootball

Lille have been handed a heavyweight Champions League league-phase schedule after Thursday's draw in Monaco, with Arsenal and Bayern Munich among their opponents.

It is the club's 10th participation, and Davide Ancelotti's side, in pot three, will visit last season's runners-up Arsenal in London and host Bayern at Pierre-Mauroy, L'Équipe reports.

The draw also handed them three away trips to AS Rome, VfB Stuttgart and Bödo/Glimt. Home ties will be against Betis Sevilla, Galatasaray and Slovan Brastislava.

LOSC face a relentless programme and will first aim to complete their squad before the window closes, following the record sale of Ayyoub Bouaddi to Manchester City for €100m.

Two years ago they finished in the league phase's top eight, securing direct qualification for the round of 16.
