It kicks off at the Stadio Dall’Ara at 20.00 GMT.

The Rossoblu had a stuttering start to life under new coach Vincenzo Italiano, scraping one point here to Shakhtar Donetsk, then losing away to Liverpool and Aston Villa, all without scoring a single goal.

There has been a recent uptick in Serie A after back-to-back wins over Cagliari and Lecce.

Michel Aebischer, Martin Erlic, Nicolò Cambiaghi and Oussama El Azzouzi are out of action, but Charalampos Lykogiannis is back in the side.

There are quite a few changes and surprises in the Bologna starting XI, where Giovanni Fabbian, Ndoye, Castro and Iling-Junior get the nod rather than Thijs Dallinga, Riccardo Orsolini and Emil Holm.

Lewis Ferguson made his comeback six months after knee surgery and is back on the bench.

AS Monaco are one of the top teams in the Champions League this term, having beaten Barcelona 2-1, drawn 2-2 away to Dinamo Zagreb and crushed Crvena Zvezda 5-1.

However, they have one point from the last three Ligue 1 matches.

Denis Zakaria, Mohammed Salisu, Edan Diop and Folarin Balogun are on the treatment table, so Breel Embolo is the man to watch upfront.
