The Bianconeri won both opening European fixtures, beating PSV Eindhoven 3-1, then fighting back when down to 10 men for an incredible 3-2 victory away to RB Leipzig.

Michele Di Gregorio was sent off in that match and is therefore suspended, replaced by Mattia Perin in goal.

Nico Gonzalez, Teun Koopmeiners, Gleison Bremer and Arek Milik are injured, with Kenan Yildiz and Conceicao fanning out around Vlahovic.

Weston McKennie returns in midfield with Nicolò Fagioli and Danilo makes a rare start in defence.

Douglas Luiz was going to get his second consecutive start, but pulled out in the warm-up, so was replaced by Khephren Thuram.

On top of that, Wahid Faghir, Justin Diehl, Ramon Hendriks, Nick Woltemade and Stefan Drljaca are ineligible for this competition.

Coach Sebastian Hoeness makes some changes, bringing in Enzo Millot for Fabian Rieder and Max Mittelstadt in defence.
